Well first up, let me just say.. Wow. I knew there would be a lot of effort involved in this little project but I think I under-estimated it a little bit. Almost 20 girls, all photographed over one weekend was certainly a mission and it took every ounce of passion, dedication and energy out of my whole team. I really hope everyone appreciated all the effort we went to, organising the locations, the assistance etc etc. Thanks very much to everyone involved. Thanks for coming over Ed, (EdwardHor.com) it was great shooting with a like minded shooter and seeing how you east coasters go about things. (P.S. Thanks for the Rode Microphones Cap haha!). Keep an eye out on his website folks there will be plenty of hot stuff to come from him in the very near future.
I think I can speak on Ed’s behalf as well when I send out a big Thank You to Karl Pearce and Jay Wells who were our pro-active trusty assistants for the duration of the weekend. It was tough on us but I know it was tough on you guys as well. The weekend really wouldn’t have succeeded without you guys. Good assistants are truly important to what we do.
The make-up artists did a great job too; Kierina Gaston, Priscilla Sue and Megan Clarke thanks very much for the support and your services.
To the girls who participated, thanks very much for coming. I know we have taken a bit longer than expected to get all these photos to you but we did our best. Things have been hectic and very stressful but we got there eventually. There was almost 20 of you remember! The feedback has been pretty good so far, and I look forward to potentially shooting with some of you in the future!
Ok ok ok yeah yeah I know you just want to see the pictures. Well here we go. Below are some of my favourite retouched photos that I took over the weekend for you to see. Would love to know where the waterfall is located
Or is that photographer’s secret? Hehe
Awesome work, Brodie. Definitely the hottest photographer in Perth. Your skills would do VERY well in L.A!
Thanks Henry glad you like them.
Gem, I’m all bout sharing but the one and only thing I like to keep a secret is the locations I use! Mainly because they take so much time and effort to find them. I’ll give you a hint though…
